We got both days in before the heat wave, so we roughed with mostly cloudy and mid 70's Both days.
I had the only Nissan, but there were many other interesting cars there. I had a nice student in an RX8. Nice nimble car, good driver. Some of the other cars there included a nice old school 4cyl Porsche 914, several R8's, a nice Challenger SRT-8, some newer mustangs, and just about every Porsche/Bimmer you can think of. Talk about small world. There was a father/son parked right near me. Father drove a 335i and the son drove an Sti. turned out they live less than a mile from me!
I had my gopro on hand but only video'd one early session on Lightning the first day.I think it was the very first run. At the end you'll see a modded GT-3 first pass me but then a CaymanS was determined to get by me but couldn't quite keep it on track. Looked impressive going off but his car was unharmed. just some dust. There were no big crashes but there were a few pucker moments to keep you on your toes.

my friend's turbo beetle. He has coilovers and upgraded brakes. No bud vase, but his antenna had a ball on it that later snapped while on track, and began spinning around its axis like a whirly copter. Pretty funny sight.

Porsche put up this snazzy temp building while we were there. 3 huge A/c units and a rubberized floor. They were renting Lightning the next day for a national dealer schmooze event. They trucked in a bunch of Cayenne's, Panameras and Caymans.
