I dont have a stand alone ECU. I have s13 black top stock ecu. I am just wondering if this one will work fine on it?

Your going to have to do a little bit of plug wiring (easy). And also, if you plan on not having a shop weld in a bung on your turbo elbow or downpipe then it will be replacing your current O2 Sensor.

Basically a narrow-band o2 sensor sends the signal your ecu needs to make limited air/fuel adjustments and also control idle. With a wideband it can sense alot more, giving you a detailed output of what fuel/air your running.

Now if you just removed the stock O2 sensor your ecu would go all out of wack. It needs that signal, it can't use the wideband signal. Welding in a seperate bung would allow you to run your wideband sensor AND still keep your narrowband sensor in the stock location.

However, this sensor works differently. If you choose, and you can go either route, you can replace your stock o2 sensor with this and it can send a narrowband signal to your ecu and a wideband signal to your AFR gauge. This will require some wiring, both will require about the same amount of labor time if a good shop does it.

So yes, it will work. It will work better for your setup than a AEM UEGO setup would because your running a stock ecu. Good luck!
