i just installed an autometer air fuel ratio gauge a week or so ago..(i kno..its just a light show)...but i figure at least itll give me a ballpark when cruising...anyway...it doesnt light up for the first like twenty mins of running...then itl start workin but only when i let off the gas.....or get on it hard....i hope im not running lean?....or is this gauge just fu**ed up?i would appreciate any input

Recheck all your connections and make sure they're hooked up to the proper wires and soldered properly and not shorting/grounding out.

ive checked em all...ill look again though...i soldered the plug(bought the 300zx sensor)..thats ok right?

its definitly a 0-1v....i just thought this was wierd cause it really cant be a loose connection cause it works when i let of the gas....engine runs rich when u let off right?...which makes me think the wiring is ok...im confused......any more input?

I hope you're kidding!I tuned my standalone with the autometer gauge, it is super accurate, you're just a hater.

still stumped guys....all connections are ok..begining to think its a bad sensor?

someone told me you can tune your stand alone using a pyrometer...is that tru???

89240 its not going to give you any good info unless you hook it up to a wide-band o2 sensor. I would un-hook it anyway hearing about all the problems that they can cause for/to the ecu.

240Hatch- your gauge isn't going to work correctly until you hook it up to a wide band o2 sensor. On top of that I would recomend taking it off from hearing some of the wierd problems they are known to cause with the ECU.

Sorry, I looked at the thread and my post wasn't showing? then after I posted a second time both showed up...........wierd.
