A Drop on a Budget

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

It's been years an H&R is only manufacturer with an EX specific product to lower the EX. Did research here and other forums and I'm considering buying a set of G35 springs and trying them on my EX. The cars share the same chassis with about a 200lb weight difference. A set of OEM G35 springs can be picked up with low mileage off of forums for maybe $60. The cost after installation (or DIY) would be a fraction of the cost for H&R's. My concerns are too much of a drop and possible alignment issues but it wouldn't be difficult to return to stock if things don't work out.

Questions I have are:

1.) Are there other obstacles that I don't know of?
2.) You guys think this is worth a try?

Thanks for the reply, noted. I check on those H&R springs and found better prices from tirerack. Any other opinions?
