A different LSD question

Lucky me I got one of the few 240's ever made with ABS and no LSD, recently I purchased a VLSD out of a 300zx I believe... and it turned out to be one of the few that dont have ABS... So what I'm wondering here is about fitment. I know I'm losing the ABS I can live with that. And I've read that you can use an ABS equiped LSD in a car that has no ABS, but what about vice versa? Is there still enough play in the mounts to close that gap, since the ABS driveshaft is about 3/4 in shorter than the non ABS one? Or is there some kind of spacer I can use?
