Sorry to bring up another wheel fitment question (but I guess that why this section of the forum exists). I’ve searched on nico, fresh alloy, club240, and 240sxforums.com, and I’ve learned a lot. So now I’m looking at spacers, and I’d like your input.

Situation: I drive a s13 hatchback lowered on Tein HE coilovers and stock brakes. I have a set of Racing Hart Type C’s (originals from 1994) that are 16x8, et38, 4x114.3 & 4x100. Tires are 205/40/16 on all four. These wheels are leftovers from my past cars, and I’m too sentimental to get rid of them.

I’m thinking of buying 25mm spacers (the kind that bolt on to the hub, and have their own bolts to mount the wheel), which would make all four wheels et13. Would that look alright, or would the wheels stick out too far? (especially the fronts). Should I get wider spacers for the rear, like 30mm? 25mm is the narrowest spacer in that style I can get, according to the manufacturer (www.wheeladapters.com).

What about getting longer wheel studs (I’m thinking the nismo bolts) and running a 10mm spacer front, and 15mm in back?

Also, would 205/40/16’s look too thin on a s13? I know the fender gap will be big because of the thinner tire. Tires shops tell me 204/45 is what I should run, and I see people on here running 225/45 or 245/45. My 205/40’s are almost brand new (90%+ tread left), so I’m reluctant to buy more tires.

Thanks for your time.

The wheels

My Nissan in questionYoure probably thinking why I don’t get a matching pair of Gram Lights for the front. Unfortunately gold ones in 17x7.5, 4x114.3, et30 are out of stock in the US (according to Mackin Industries), so I’d have to wait a minimum 90 days if I special ordered.
