Hey guys I'm just going to get right down to it.

The car: 1997 Auto 240

The swap: S13 transmission w/ harness (not sure if from SOHC or DOHC but it has 4 sensors on it) using a 95 manual ECU

The questions:

1) When putting in the clutch pedal assembly there was an ECU right where the pedal now sits. I unplugged it and think it may be the A/T controller...but not sure...do I need to keep it plugged in? it's going to have to be relocated if so.

2) On my car the rear o2 sensor appears to come from the auto transmission harness...the new harness has no o2 sensor connection. Also I realize I'd need the older 3 prong o2 sensor anyways for 95 ecu. Can I just plug the o2 bung and get rid of the sensor since 95's are OBDI? Do they need that rear o2 signal or can I get by without a CEL?

3) For the non transmission connections on the Harness will they use the same style connectors as the 97 or am I going to have to do some cutting?

Thanks so much for help.

1:i think thats the time control module that goes "ding" when the door is open or the lights are on.

2:open harness and use whichever wires and sensor go with ecm.

3:i suspect many will be different

honestly if i were you id use a manual from the 96+ because then no obd2to1 harness conversion is necessary and it is able to be hooked up to the nissan consult system.

FYI 95 and earlier = obd1 or no obd 96+ = obd2 or obd2 replacement system (i cant remember if its obd3 or something else)

just found out nissan's 95 were actually OBDII

Also I need a crank angle sensor to keep the car from getting a CEL so it looks like i'll be taking out the bulb lol
