this is a 90 240sx with a 95 motor and transmission

1-driveshaft is a bit short compared to before...can i use washers and space it back out temporarly. ..WTF

2-when i turn the car on it will idle fine for 20 seconds then bogs down back up to idle and then bog down once again and then go back up to a smooth idle for 20 seconds agan...RECAP idle for 20 seconds, bogs down twice then idle for 20 seconds and repeat

3-my speedomoter and gas gauge work. i know that the tack does not work and thats because i have not swapped that out for the DE gauge....BUT what about the water temp sensor...its not reading anything ....what do i need to check

4-When i drive her the car sputters above 2k rpm and yea...WTF...please help me out you guys, ya got my car this far with previous information...a little bit more....

also the plug right next to the water temp sensor is broken would that have to do with the temp reading.....and i set the timing at 20 degrees..ok...just throwing that out...thats right right???

What ECU / harness / MAF are you using?

Should all be S13 DOHC stuff...

I'm not sure which harness plug your referring to when you say "the plug right next to the water temp sensor is broken." However if your referring to the red connector(F22-Engine coolant temp sensor) and a small single black harness connector(F23-Thermal transmitter) that connect to sensors on the water outlet neck on the upper left side of the engine(one without thermostat) then your gonna have to make sure both of the connectors are on their tight and secure. The smaller one (F23)with the single wire(Blue/Black) drives the gauge temp sensor. The red harness connector(2 wires Blue/Orange & Black) is for the ECU. I had the same problem when i swapped a 96 into a 90. Assuming your using the S13 dohc ECU harness and if I remember correctly you either have to swap the engine coolant temperature sender or thermal transmitter from the S14 KA to dohc S13 KA. That should get your temp gauge working correctly.
