When I'm not hit with the mod bug, I'm usually suffering from the laziness bug. This is something I've been meaning to so since a long time ago but got around to doing it today. Not done, since i'm not completely satisfied... im gonna sand it down again and repaint it because I was going for a black chrome look but it ended up looking a dirty black instead.

And just for fun, heres a pic of something called the GTR...i dunno if you guys have heard of it or what... :p

If it was me, I would've painted all the decals or none at all, it looks very awkward with two tones in the emblems.... just me?

I would pull them all off, it would look much better IMHO!

Good luck!

I think it looks good on the Silver color car. It would just disappear on my black!

I'm still trying to decide what I really want to do... at first i debadged it but the paint underneath didn't match, which is why I painted the emblems and put it back on. I would have done the Mt. Fuji logo too, but I'm not too confidant in my rebadging skills. Also, you cant see it from the pics but the tape I used is pretty thick and from the side views, you can see the tape.... and im also scared that someone will steal the emblems since its pretty easy to take off now... I looked everywhere and everyone always says use 3m double sided tape, but what kind exactly should I use? i first tried tape, but it was too weak so i used this:

any thoughts?

Also, how durable is the tape? It was really foggy last night and my car was a little wet and the whole time driving home I was worried the emblems might fall off.....

In your local auto parts store, in the paint isle, you should find some 3M black double sided adhesive strips, those will hold them on there really well, the stuff is super sticky if someone wanted to debade the car for you... they may have trouble... Good luck

Thx a lot man! I went to Kragen today and bought it.

With the "INFINITI" and "G35", I purposely didn't sand the chrome off before painting it hoping it'll come out as a black chrome but it was a failure, to my standards. I'm gonna repaint only those again and see how the new tape goes on and afterwards i'll work on the Mt. Fuji logo.

Ok a quick update... I just got this in the mail today and couldn't wait until sunlight. I just held it in place with tape to check the fitment and I gotta say I like!

What do you guys think?

The pics make the eyelids look "off," but its because of the angle. It fits flush with the lines of the hood. i wanna hear your guys's opinions!
