a couple of Quirks 09 Murano SE

Just got the 09 Murano SE & I love every minute of driving it. coming from the 05 Murano SL (ORANGE!)(pity orange is not an option on the 09???) its a great upgrade. But a few things still leave me scratching my head 1. What happened to the tire pressure monitor that was very useful why did they take it away?2. the voice prompts drive me crazy (even when I set it to minimize voice it only minimizes the first screen after that you have wait till it s a y s "say the voice tag...say dial..." why cant it just beep like in all other cars?)3. why can't i see the incoming caller ID Thats an official bug! Hope it can be fixed)4. the radio switch on the steering wheel is reversed pressing up changes the radio channel down and down is up???? which genius designed that??5. the Keyless ignition is the best thing, but in the old murano it turned so that when I was listneing to the radio & than parked I just turned the switch to turn off the engine & left the power on ACC now you have to turn off car (hangs up the phone & turns off radio) & than turn on the ACC otherwise you have to keep the engine running and waste alot of gas $$. anybody have a solution to these minor problems would appreciate it.Dont get me wrong I still love my Murano there is nothing much better out there...

Hello again, I posted a welcome message for you in the "Welcome" thread.

1. The TPMS is on the LE model

2. I am not a fan of the voice activated stuff, the only part of it I use on my '08 Armada is the phonebook.

3. Wierd.....what does it show on the screen when you get a call? My '08 Armada shows the caller ID when there is an incoming call.

4. Radio switch thing is wierd also. Tell me that if you press up, the volume goes up, and down if it goes down. I never checked that when I test drove.

5. Not much you can do about that one. I have the twist keyless on my '08 Armada, but that push button sure is sweet, so I think that is a fair tradeoff.

I guess in closing I am glad the '09 Murano is for my wife, and the '08 Armada is mine!!! LOL, just kidding, but I understand where you are coming from, everyone hates quirky things, but in the end, I know we will all LOVE our '09 Muranos!

Thanks for your reply,1. I have the LE still can't find it3. all calls show "private caller"4. I figured out the radio thing, it works with the presets as a list 1-6 top to bottem therefore if your presets are set that 1 is the lower # and six is the higher station you toggle down to go up however I reset all my presets that 6 is the lowest # & now it works normally (a real headscratcher) Like you said I still love the Murano wouldnt trade itr for anything else.
