Hey guys, I have several questions I'm hoping some of you might have the answer to.
Thanks in advance for the responses!

1. Does anyone have any issue with the push button start? Every once in a while I would try to start the car and press the button and it wouldn't turn all the way. Just a half turn and then dead. I would then have to re-push the button to start it. I know it's not the battery because I had it replaced back in January. Is this common? Do I need to have the alternator check? Something else?

2. Do you know if the American and Canadian clusters are interchangeable? Assuming that they are for the same models (tech for tech and non-tech for non-tech). My car is for the Canadian market and therefore, the cluster is in KPH. I would like to swap it to the American version to get the MPH version if at all possible. I'm just not sure whether or not the American clusters will work in Canadian cars and vice versa.

3. Every once in a while, the bluetooth connection is just bad. The bluetooth connection will be established (as can be seen on the phone), but no sound would be coming out until a good few minutes in. Sometimes, I would have to turn the bluetooth on the phone on/off to get connected. Some other time, I would actually have to park the car and turn the engine off and back on before getting connected. Is this a known issue or is this something I need to take into the dealership to look at??

Again, thanks in advance for all and any responses.
Have a great day!

1. Yes. It has happened several times in both of my push button cars, Infiniti and Subaru. Personally, it does not concern me.

2. Don't know. This platform is relatively young and not very common so these types of things have probably not been attempted yet. I would hope that it is as simple as just swapping them out.

3. Known issue(s). There are several threads here that cover a small variety of odd Bluetooth behaviours. My Bluetooth always sounds perfect but sometimes it disconnects and reconnects on its own very quickly. Most of the time it starts playing right where it left off, other times I need to press play in the Bluetooth menu or on the phone to get it started again. Maybe twice since I purchased the car it has stopped working until I cycle the cars Bluetooth off/on.

1. Got it. I won't worry too much about it then. The M is my first push button car (upgraded from a 2008 Acura TL) so I wasn't sure if this was something that's common.

2. That's what I'm hoping for, but considering that the cluster is really pricey (since I have to buy new and program the mileage to match), this is unfortunately not something that I'd like to just assume. I did call Infiniti Corporate (both Canada and US) and they told me to call the dealership. The dealerships, of course, didn't have a clue.

3. Okay cool. I won't bother with this either then. I just find it very annoying.

Thanks for your response, Debonair!

Bluetooth in the car is great when it works. Ive had more issues with stuttering, and other random things than i can count. im not sure why bluetooth streaming is so tough for manufacturers to figure out.

Wait, so the stuttering is also a bluetooth issue?
All these times I just thought I had bad connection (I always stream Spotify or Google Play)!!!
Damn, at this rate, I'm inclined to just install my old trusted aukey bluetooth dongle from my old Acura TL then. That thing was reliable as hell!
