First off, the car has developed a miss in the engine. Whether it is idling, under acceleration, or cruising there is a miss - almost like a dead cylinder. Have installed new plugs, coils, MAF sensor and the car was running great. When exiting the expressway a week or so ago, I dropped from 4th to 3rd gear, then when I accelerated I noticed a distinct miss - happened suddenly. Drove it home (about 30 mi. total) and parked it. Haven't driven or worked on it since. I'm thinking bad injector(s). Any thoughts???
Secondly, the rear door windows will not work from the console - but do from the door switches. The door lights, cigar lighter, and power locks do not work on the rear doors and the security system will not arm. I was told that the power modules had been replaced. Are they position specific? (Does each door take a certain module or are they interchangeable?) From what information that I can find it seems as though Nissan set up a type of LAN on this car's body electrical system. Am I correct or is that just Infiniti talk for wierd way of doing things?
Any help on these problem areas will be greatly appreciated. I'm still working on the major mechanical issues. If I ever get most of them taken care of then I plan to start on the cosmetics (if the wife doesn't make me sell it first)!

I would bet a cold  on an injector issue causing your dead miss. Time to ohm test your injectors...

You can download the factory service manual (FSM) at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ There should be procedures in there to test the networked control modules.

Good luck!
