Greetings, & Happy Easter!

I have a few noobie questions. I tried doing some searching on here first but I think I just suck at searching, or haven't properly learned how to filter yet (I am an old guy).

1) There are 2 buttons above the driver's side knee. One is the Traction Control (VDC) but not sure what the other one is?? (I forget the acronym that's on it). In my last Infiniti (G35x) there was another one for 'snow', but not sure what this other one is on my M.

2) Is there any way to stream Pandora or anything else, through the BlueTooth on my Galaxy Note 4? I can take calls which is awesome, but I really want to listen to my musin too :(

3) How big is the gas tank?? I've read many different #'s. 20.0, 17.8, I even saw a 15.4. How big is it?? This this thing is a gas hog! Haha! I knew it would be with the v8, but it burned through my first full tank in 237 miles. That seems really bad so I'm trying to figure out what my mileage is.

4) The 'one touch' power windows do not appear to be working. Are they broken? Or is there a feature I haven't figured out yet?

Thanks guys! :)

Welcome to NICO!
Good luck with the sale of your old G, nice upgrade you've got there!

I'm not really able to answer your questions directly, however, I can provide you with the FSM (Factory Service Manual) for your car; we provide them free of charge to members.
Click the link in my signature and take a peek at the manual for your model/year and you might be able to get almost every question answered.

1. AFS - its the automatic headlight feature that tilts the projector in the direction you're turning the wheel. you can turn it off with that switch.

2. bt45-infi. it's a bluetooth module that plugs into the satellite receiver in the trunk to stream music. it even display artist/track titles on the screen and it works perfect. i just installed it 2 days ago.

3. i believe it's a 20 gal? and yes this is the biggest unnecessarily gas consuming vehicle ive ever owned.

4. if you continuing holding the "UP" button for about 5-8 seconds after the window is fully closed it should fix itself.

cheers and welcome

Frapjap & Brian35XR, this was incredibly helpful! Thank you, VERY much!!! I will try these things tomorrow!

As far as gas gauge, my fuel light has come on 2x and i have filled up 2x at 15.0-15.7 gallons. That is a VERY conservative gas light if the tank is 20 gallons!!

NEVER trust the gas light or MILES TILL EMPTY info... I try to fill up when I hit 1/4 tank.

I don't trust any of it, which is why I am really trying to understand how big this bloody gas tank is :) I know now after 2 tanks, I get 15.5-16 mpg. I just need to know size of tank to know how far I can actually go.

The most I have put in is about 16.5 maybe 17 gallons but the fuel gauge just fine. Why don't you trust it?

2 Reasons.

1) I'd just rather do the math I guess. Comes in handy in a pinch. I had a couple situations over the years on road trips where gas stations are closed, over night pay-at-the-pumps aren't working or something similar. Gas gauge needle buried at E, and light flashing. I just like to know exactly how much fuel a tank holds :)

2) My 2005 G35X's gas gauge never worked right. I didn't even look at it. Just knew I needed to fill at about 375 miles. There was a TSB outlining a faulty fuel pump sending unit. It was on a TON of Nissans, but not sure what years. I guess old habits just die hard.

Been towing for AAA a very, very long time and help people daily who run out of fuel. Sometimes that light fails and never comes on and sometimes the gauge is still showing that there is fuel. American made models seem to be repeat customers especially GM and Chrysler products.
Running out of gas is not great for your fuel pump and can cause it to fail if done repeatedly. The pump is kept cool and lubricated by the fuel in the tank.

Very, very true! I replaced the one on my Denali XL 2x (I call my wife the Gas Light Queen). It's a serious Pain the replace, and costs $400 for the part at DISCOUNT. Audi's are way worse.
