Yeah you're seeing that correctly. That's half tC, half G35. I was shown this car on a different forum and I couldn't believe someone tried to do this. For the money spent, this person could have bought a G35.

I know some people just like to develop things and you are absolutely right the owner could of just go and buy a G. It is strange some people do these things. But I guess it is satisfying them. He did a good job I had to admit it.

Argh. What really bothers me about that car is the sunken tiny wheels and the fact that the tailpipe does not come out of the cutout on the bumper. It looks like an easy mod to do, so how come he didnt just cut it shorter and reweld it?

I thought the same thing about the tail pipe. I don't like the wheels either and it looks like this person tried to save a little money by skimping on tires a tad. Since its established now that its for sale and the description says it could be a show car, I'm guessing this guy thought he had a great idea, brought it to a show, and failed miserably. And for good reason lol. The gaps between the panels, the exhaust, the wheels. There's hardly anything positive in this car (that I like or see). If I bought this car or even rode in it, I would feel guilty.

While the tC is the topic of discussion, has anyone else noticed the way drivers of tC's are pompous and standoff-ish? No offense to any tC drivers here, just the ones in orlando drive me crazy. They're always puttering along with their spoilers, and their carbon fiber inserts, glaring at me and trying to race. It seems to me that everyone who owns a tC thinking it's a "race car", realizes its a cheap version of a G35, and has to compensate for it.

That's just my opinion, Florida might be the only place full of this many stuck up tC drivers

and that car is ugly. Like an illegitimate son of Frankenstein and Rosie O'Donnell, just slower.

Wait until that damn Altima coupe comes out. Then between that and the scion we can get some serious diluting of the G35 image. Everyone will think they are driving a G.

The Scion people act the same here in Dallas. What they fail to understand is that they are driving a basically cheap disposable car that I could purchase on my credit card. Ha!! Not EVEN a contender with the G. Oh and I agree this Scion is FUGLY!!!!!

I think Nissan should have their A$$ kicked for making that Altima coupe look so close to the G35 coupe. JMO.

I couldn't agree more.... like it isn't bad enough that they think their car is the Nissan version of the G, now you have to cement that in their brains by busting a stupid and making the new altima look more like the G..... tards...

That is dumb. How can anyone think the Altima is the Nissan version of the G????? It is front wheel drive!

I think you're missing the point here. Have you seen the new Altima coupe? What they're saying is that the Altima coupe takes away from the uniqueness of the G in terms of styling. It used to be that the 350Z and G35 were the only ones comparable across brands, and rightfully so. But not anymore.

OK, since this came up... Seriously, aren't you G35 owners just a little PO'ed by this damn Altima Coupe? Just a little even? I was shocked when I first saw it, thinking it could VERY WELL have been the damn '08 G35 (before I knew it was offically the G37).

The main reason I bought the G35 was because of its unique and gorgeous looks. Of course power, safety and reliability were the real closers of the deal for me but the looks of the car got me to the dealership in the first place. Then come the TCs everywhere. Yes, it IS a G35 wannabe, and they are cocky little ****s driving around Dallas.

Now Imagine whats going to happen when these damn Altima Coupes are everywhere... Anyway, it really gets me mad that Nissan did this. Not because I'm a snob but because the G was unlike anything else style-wise. Now, they're a dime a dozen and with the TC and Altima Coupe they're... well, you get my point by now, I'm sure.

Yeah, I have seen the Altima coupe, but it does not hold a candle to the g35. The front is weak, and the back looks like they tried a little too hard. All in all a good looking car, but not comparable IMO.

Fair enough, to each his own opinion. I agree with you for the most part, but its the basic shape and styling of the car. From a side view, there are striking similarities, imo.

it's all about the money in the end. Nissan can only really sell 350's, their other cars suck. Granted the Maxima is a nice sedan, but when you compare it to the G35 which is close in price, there's no comparison. Nissan and Infiniti are the same brand, so they're trying to get young kids who can't afford a G, to buy from Nissan instead of Infiniti. Just balancing out the demand really.

The commercials piss me off. They show every angle that makes it look similar to the G35, and then show it power sliding through a turn leaving a little picture-perfect dust trail.

I loved the G35 from the first year it came out, and I loved the fact that it was respectable, powerful, and not every 17 year old tard owned one. With the tC copy-cats, and the altima, we're going to sink into a world of teenage white boys playing bad rap while sticking tuna cans on their mufflers and thinking they own the road.

Just remember, we're still faster

I have no problems whatsoever about the Altima coupe. i was actually planning on getting one before i decided on getting the G. Now the scion tC is another story. My cousins girlfriend has a tC and thought it was the fastest car on the road..... until she saw my G35. she's mad that i got it because she says its the car she wanted, now she wants to go for a "ride" . my cousins girl was a h* before they started talking and now its up to me to remind him of that.

I have no problem with the Altima... I think it's a gvreat lil car..Some got a lil butt hurt because of the close resemblance to the G. Which, if you take a second and put yourself in a G owners shoes... I'm sure you can understand. All in all tho... I like them..

Yeah, I kinda accidentally revived this by posting it in the thread about the guy in the tC who wanted to race to show the pictures in here. Shows how stupid a tC owner can be on top of the racing guy.
