hey after you guys changed the stock and spring, have you guys been hearing banging noise, werid noise or whatever in the back? MY machanic guys told me that it is because the suspension bushings have been really worn and it cost a lot for replacement.. anyone has done it before? any thoughts?

Admin, please move this thread.

*Usually* when weird noises like that are heard just after having work done, it is either because the wrong parts were used and/or the shop didn't put everything back together correctly. Bushings do wear out, but that's *exactly* what they do--they wear. They usually don't fail suddenly, so usually strange noises due to wear develop gradually and get worse. Your car is not *that* old. I would be suspicious and have either them or another shop disassemble the shock again, while watching them and with an exploded suspension diagram in hand.

Sounds like rear subframe bushings...and since your mechanic said it would be costly, I'd assume it would be those. Dropping the car will wear these bushings extremely quickly, especially if there is high mileage on the car.

The whole rear subframe has to be removed to replace these...unless you get spacers.
