A/C Wont Charge!

Hello! I will start off by saying that I am new to this forum and I am glad to be part of it!! I just recently purchased my 1990 240 Hatch 5spd from a friend. I have slowly been fixing things and adding my own twist to things! I recently decided to look into getting the A/C working due to a trip I am taking this weekend! I started digging around today and I replaced the relay because the relay was missing and I replaced to 10a fuse in the kickpanel because it was blown. I finally got the controls to work and the lights working but it had no freon in it. It has been converted to 136a and I put a small can into it. When I started to charge it I started hearing a hissing and the system would not hold pressure in the system. It was coming from the bolt in the picture. Can anyone tell me what this is and a fix for it? The first one is me pointing it out and the second is a closer look! Thanks!

Welcome to NICO! You're lucky if that's all the issue is.
I'm guessing you'll need a new seal and fastener, although I'm not sure what that particular part is called. Have you tried looking for it in the factory service manual?

Took a look at the factory service manual and could not find that piece.... I fouls out how to break down the compressor haha.... It's driving me crazy!

That part is the pressure relief valve.

How much pressure was the gauge displaying?
