This may be a very stupid question but hey why not ask right,

If I get an after-market part but have the dealer install it is my warranty still gone?

I know I know dealers charge too much yada yada yada But if it means keeping my warranty in tact it's never too much lol

Where you been? Haven't seen you post in a while.

What part are you installing? Say you installed it yourself. If anything were to happen, legally they would have to prove this part caused the problem. If you have it installed through the dealer they might have a benefit for you.

None should vois your warranty as a matter of fct here's the skinny on exhausts

Magnuson Moss Warranty Act of 1975...

http://www.me-mag.com/pdf/magmoss.pdf

You have rights, you will void your exhaust warranty thats all.
