just got compressor installed on my CA so i'm trying to get a/c working, it worked in the car before i swapped so im assuming everything a/c wise on the chassis is in good condition. The clutch kicks on and compressor spins when i push the button, but air is still very hot. I noticed on the A/C stick under hood it says 1.65 lbs +- .05 or something for volume. I used maybe one third of my 14oz can, so barely .30 lbs. I know I kind of answer my question with I obviously need more freon but i keep shakin this bottle but it doesnt really take alot in? plus the gauge on the can is in the orange/red (should i ignore it?)? im thinking about just getting it filled at an a/c place. any comments appreciated

when you are filling, make sure the A/C is on,,,fill with the can upside down.

1.65 lb. is about 26.5 ounces. you'll need 2 14oz. cans.
