Hi All,
First Post. Big thanks to all those who contribute their time and expertise to this site! Mainly, I'd like to know if anyone has ever bought anything from techchoiceparts.com. Also, I'd like to know if anyone has experience with four seasons a/c lines. I found this part on their website to replace the one on my 2001 I30T which is leaking refrigerant(dye) on both ends of the rubber section:

Now, I know it says it is only for a maxima, but I've cross-checked it with the four seasons part number and every other site says it is an exact fit(it also references the nissan part number for my part). They only want $36 for the part the cheapest on ebay is $76 and most sites want $115(some of these are oem). That's it, Thanks! But if you want to read on you can, below I will give you the back story.

I've had my I30T for almost 5 years and the a/c has always run cold. But I always noticed what looked to me like antifreeze was leaking from this hose(just a slight leak). I do all my car maintenance and most of my repairs, but my last car I had for 16 years and never even had to add refrigerant, so I knew nothing about A/C lines and simply thought it was antifreeze leaking from a line to the heater core. A few weeks ago, when I first had the need for a little cool air, there was none. Since then, I've come to the realization that the green stuff is dye added to refrigerant lines for finding leaks. Of course, it was added at least 5 years ago(before I bought the car). I'm kinda wondering if I should worry about replacing the line. Having such a slow leak and possibly a still pressurized system, maybe I should just add refrigerant. Any thoughts on this would be helpful as well.

I have no experience with the company, but I see that they offer a 12month/12k mile warranty...that's the same that would be offered by the dealership for the OEM part.

Rent ( for free) the AC pressure equipment from Pep Boys/Auto Zone/ etc and check the hi and low side of your compressor to see if it meets specs in the FSM
