A/C

ok this has been happening of a while now. i would be driving say 60mph decide to up the windows and turn the A/C on and then i do. two seconds after i here a loud embarrassing screech one that would turn heads if i were in town. it is almost like something under pressure perged or the belt is loose and makes this noise once the A/C kicks on. this is a second gen altima. if any one has had this problem and knows how to resolve it i beg you for assistance. THANX

sounds like the belt could be loose, have you checked that?
