i knew i should have taken some pics when i took mine out, but its not that hard. took me a day to get ALL of it out. the crux is what are you going to do with the freon? it is against some federal law for untrained people to vent an a/c system. that being said, after that just unbolt everything under the hood. if you dont plan on reinstalling it later then its easier to cut the lines to the firewall and back. you may need to loosen the radiator top so you can tilt it back to get the evap core out. dont forget the condensor behind the glovebox. just take out the glovebox and slide out the box holding the core. put the box back in and your done. if this is on a de then once you remove the compressor you don't need any special belts as it runs on its own belt.

well if your car is any thing like mine and you haven't had any A/C for the past 4 years, chances are your system has draind its self, you can tak it to a shop and have them check the freon level it cost me 25 bucks to be told i have a leak and theres no freon in the system. but do get it checked before you start taking out your A/C.

mine hasnt worked at least for the last 3 years, i took it to get it re-charged last year, and apparently it leaked out in 1 days time... so i just cut the belt and said F it. how difficult is it to remove? how many bolts etc? just curious.

20 or so bolts some are 17, 15, 14, and 1o mm. i used a pair of vise grips to undo all the tubes.
