My A/C stopped working a few weeks ago, and I'd like to fix it before I cook myself alive. The fan works fine on all of the settings, but when I go to push the AC button, nothing happens. The light doesn't even light up even more. No changes in idle either. I don't think there are any problems witht he blower motor.

I can barely get by with running the fan on high, but with the temperautres in NY soaring, I'd like to fix it.

check out the compressor. see if the wiring is at the compressor first.
