I own a S13 (CA18det) with A/C and it seems like it won't shut off, everytime i turn on the heater vent i can hear the A/C compressor jump in( even though the A/C knob is in off position) or jump out when i turn the vent off. Where to look(compressor, relays, wiring , control panel?)?

If I remember on that model and a the new ones the a/c comes on to help dehumitify the windows and you may get some air out of the defroster vents in the heat mode.

Thanx for the good tip, maybe there's nothing wrong with the A/C cause it happent the first time when it got colder here ( i will check out the A/c specs for my model tomorrow at my friendly Nissan dealer, if he know?). I never thaught(heard) about such a A/C mode, but u live and learn.

Yup, in Defrog mode, the AC compressor kicks in to help dehumidify the air. It's perfectly normal and happens on most cars.
