I just filled up my car with refrigerant, when i turn on the A/C its seems to run properly the line on the passenger side is ice cold , but the air blown is warm. After some searching it comes down to the throttle suction valve next to the evaporator. Am i wrong? Now this part is not available for purchase at the dealer and i can't find any used ones online, can it be fixed? According to a post on Zcar "remove the tsv and pop out the small aluminum clip inside the tsv(throttle suction valve) remove the fat solenoid and spring." It says to remove these parts but im still pretty lost on this subject, Any advice?

ummm, the car was running wiht the a/x on high when you charged it right? did you hook up manifolds to verify pressures on both sides? the TSV sounds liek what is generally called a low pressure valve on most auto a/c systems, and you can tell it's bad by reading the pressures on the manifold

Yes if i select the Auto function the A/C blows the air on its high setting, try to change fan setting on pod but it never works, by the way never blows out warm air when i raise the temperature setting don't know if that matters. No did not verify pressure on both sides, that would just getting a reading from both high and low pressure valves, right? My mechanic checked the a/c and only a little of refrigerant was added since he said the pressure reading was high.

if the reaidng was hihg then he shouldn't have added any, a decetn mechanic will hook upt he manifold and can tell pretty quickly y which levels are doing what what the problem is, I suggest you find a new mechanic, the a/c system isn't special any a/c specialist should be able to handle it
