a/c removal questions

ive searched for this.. maybe i just cant find it.

but im removing the complete a/c system from my s13 coupe. what all can be removed? and also im having trouble getting the compressor out.. any one have any info on this to help? pics are great

well u can take out the compressor the thing thats attached to the motor and the belt it sits on and a tiny pulley on a braket can all go too, you can take out the condensor (the thing infront of the radiator and not sure what its callled but its under the glove compartment its a big box and all the ac lines and and the plastic hose that connect to every ac vent

yeh that big white boxy thing under the glove compartment is what i cant seem to get out (not the compressor sorry). ive removed a few screws and it seems fairly loose

alright. i got the white part out. now theres alot of black plastic which i think ties into the vents and other parts of the system maybe this pics will help. if you guys could let me know what of this can go (i dont want heat or air.. just defrost which i will use a fan for later)

thats called the evaporator, and i dont think u wanna remove that. jst cut off the pipes. because on my s14 the blower motor attaches next to it and if you tak it out then the blower motor will jst blow on the pass side feet. no heat... or any air movement.

then u got the compressor and condenser(front of the rad) and reciever/drier...jst follow the lines and take out all the components that they go to, except the evaporator.

well... im not gonna run heat or air. so thats not really a big deal for me. im just gonna have defrost in it.. via a fan and some plumbing from the engine bay
