Well, since I have to wait to get some parts to get my car running, I went off on another suqe project to make more power. Well this doesn't really make more power, but does help on 1/4 times. I decided to remove my A/C system since the compressor was locked up and the pully wouldnt turn. First off, the compressor came off no prob, just hadda vent all the freon out (all you environmentalist can kiss my @$$) when i losened the hoses. After that was done just like four bolts, and the compressor came off no problem. Well one of my questions is, does the little bracket that holds the A/C compressor on serve any other function? I'd like to know before I throw it away. Second, what's all involved in takeing the condensor off? I did a search and couldn't find anything. Also, do I need to plug and of the hoses off, or just leave them where they are at till I can get a chance to remove them? If anyone else out there is considdering this and has any questions feel free to ask. And if anyone has done this before, and knows anything alse I need to do, I would appricate the help.Ryan
