The low (smaller) port is the one you hook up to. The connector will only attach to this port. Turn your vehicle on, A/C on full blast. Hook up to low side, squeeze trigger. When the compressor clutch kicks in, let off the trigger and see where the gauge is. If it is in the blue, you're good. If it's in the green, keep going. If it's in the yellow or red, stop immediately and let some of that stuff out.

I would recommend putting the minimum amount in to cool and not trust that cheap little gauge they give you

Hey Johnny, found the refigerant today at Autozone.Worked like a champ.I first found the little can with the hose and put into a/c system.Immediately my a/c was feeling alot better, then when I went back to get two more cans I noticed the tall can with the gauge,so I purchased that and that's all I needed.$200 vs $21.00 you do the math!

Might want to chcek the low side and high side of your compressorwith a manifold gauge.(Auto Zone will rent free with your refundabledeposit)

If your pressures are too much for your system it might break a hoseo ring or worse.

Remember the people who sell those AC recharge items call them"suicide kits"
