well i guess really call it like a hott coolant valve. its behind the engine in the very center with a cable that comes out from the interior of the firewall with 2 rubber hoses going to it and under it you can see the return hoses from the heater core. ill try to get a pic up tomorrow but ill be a little busy but might be able to get one. but all i did was spray it with some pb blaster or wd40 or something equivlent and turned the dial to cold then hot a few times and it started working perfect. no issues since. also make sure you have coolant and see where i told you the valve is and see if its not bypassed.
in response to driver its kinda nice to use the ac in winter but i recently found out my ac compressor has been making a knocking sound like an engine does for idk how long so whenever it desides to go im going to have to replace it. along with all the other stuff im going to have to do to it still.
