OK i have a 91 240sx and my A/C doesn't work. When i hit the A/C switch and put it on 1 the A/C light doesn't turn on and it doesn't blow cold air. I already checked the fuses in the fuse panel. The A/C use to work but after i put in my 96 KA it hasn't worked since. When i went under the car i found a wire that seemed like it was ripped, right next to the A.C compressor. It was connected to a plug put then it was ripped about 5" later. I'm 95% sure this is the problem. On the plug there is a slot that looks like it would slide over this metal piece on the A/C sompressor, but i don't know where the end of the wire would go to. Does anyone know where the wire would go into. Can someone please help me out. Thanks

I am assuming you recharged the system. The compressor will not turn on if there is no charge.

That wire turns the compressor on...reconnect it to the compressor.

How about a picture of what you're describing. I can't quite figure it out from your post.
