A/C problem

I have noticed that my 1992 z digital climate control is placed to max speed, but the i hear the fan at hi then low. air comes out at vents hi at times then low, fan speed per digital climate control stays on max. what could be causing this? Faulty a/c fan?. Any suggestions on how to correct

If u have cold air coming out and the fan speed varies even when the air temp in the cabin is steady u may have a faulty temp sensor.

These cars that have digital climate control have different sensors in diferent places so that it automaticly senses and cools or warms the area as to the temperature desired.

If it's hot as balls and you set your temp to 68F the fan will go max until it reaches that temp, once it does, the fan slows down and speeds up accordingly in order to maintain the temperature desired.

There is a way to diagnose through the climate controls and the digital display will tell u what sensors are failing, I don't have them handy but someone might be able to help u on this forum.
