A/C problem heater won't work

I am trying to identify my A/C problem for J30 97

- fan only blows low, even on high fan setting on control panel- no heat, cold A/C continues to blow even set at 85 temperature.- air comes from feet and defrost regardless of setting to different positions

Suggestions?

On a '93 I believe there is some sort of climate control self-diagnostic mode/routine that you can run and systems can get sort of "lost".

In the heating mode the fan blows slower or not all until things have warmed up. It sounds like the fan is continuing to stay at its' lowest speed, as you have zero heat. Is this the case in both the AUTO and ECON modes?

Yes, the problem continues in both the econ and auto modes. Plus the fan won't blow high, or change positions (from floor and defrost to chest) when using the A/C for cold air.

Its as if the system is stuck.
