Quick question: Do stock S13 240SX's use R12 (freon) or R134A air conditioning? How about S14's?

So long as we're on this topic, for all you guys in SoCal, I offer recharge services for R-12 systems. I'm EPA-certified and I guarantee purity. $60 flat, just email me.

I live in Tampa,Florida and it gets hot here. In fact its hot most of the time. I'd say it gets cold about 3 months out of the year, the other 8 its hot and 1 month its kinda nice. The humidty is very high so its even hot at night. I've been outside and its 89degrees at 2am. I'm not complaining, but there's no way I will drive a car with no A/C. I'm thinking of turbo-ing my KA or going SR, but either way, I must have A/C. Call me a wuss if you want to, but there's no sense in having a car that I can't enjoy or take a date out with. Oh yeah, gotta have my sound system too. Nothing too huge or fancy, but it must sound nice. These are creature comforts that I will not do without.

I like it here though! Just hot all the time. Don't see why people would want to live in snow and earthquakes?

I just took mine off if anyone wants to buy it....worked perfectly, but as Aries said...race cars don't need it.

Which AC lines do I need? the ka24e or ka24de ac lines? I believe it was the ka24de ac lines that I needed to make it fit with a custom flange to install it onto the sr ac compressor.

I use my A/C all the time here in FL, plus why wouldn't I, since I hooked up my Digital Climate Control I love to just see it lit up. :)

I have my compressor on my engine, but it's not hooked up. I have to have my old KA lines and my SR lines cut and welded to get it hooked back up again. I need to do it, and soon.
