A/C on a S13 with an SR20DET

I'm currently looking into purchasing a 240sx. There are a couple of issues with it, it pulls hard left, the interior is horrrrrrrible, the RPM gauge doesn't work, minor paint chips all over. But the biggest buying question is the a/c, which it does not currently have. The guy who currently owns the car said that all it needs is a compressor and the lines to run the a/c. But my question is, will the compressor even fit in the engine bay? how much would it cost to buy one? how much to have the a/c lines run?

P.S. I live in Phoenix, AZ so a/c is a must.

i feel ya on the a/c. i had to put a system in mine. search for a/c there are plenty of threads about running proper a/c with the SR. on another note, sounds like the cars in rough shape, id look for a nother. unless the rest of the car is flawless

hey, thanks for the reply, but the guy bailed on me last second in the buying process, so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Plus I got t-boned in my daily today so if they total that out, I'll have some extra cash for a better 240.
