Went to use AC last week and noticed I was getting only hot air. Then a few days later I noticed a weird noise from what counts like the A/C clutch pulley area. The belt seems good and clutch is engaging when it’s supposed to but I did notice sometimes it looks like the clutch slows down then speeds up, almost like it’s struggling and it’s making this weird noise when it’s engaged only. Need help, What could be the issue here? Should I replace the whole A/C with a new clutch? Thanks for the help

Probably the compressor is crapping out, not the clutch. If it's binding internally it can make the clutch appear to be slipping.
