A/C Motor?

I have a 00 I30. After a few days of making a funny sound, my AC now only blows outside temperature air. Can this be my motor or would or be the temperature sensor? I'm thinking motor since it was making such a funny sound but not sure.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds as though the A/C compressor clutch has gone bad.

is that difficult/ expensive to replace?

I just hope that it's not a typo so better call them. Special equipment is required to service the AC as it is illegal to discharge freon into the atmosphere.
