Hey guys. I had a feeling my a/c system wasn't vacuuming down. So I add some refrigerant, snap the coupler over the low side R134 conversion fitting, turn the knob until it bottoms out and nothing. I unhooked the hose from the gauge just to verify. Same thing on the high side. The pin that screws in to depresses the valve just doesn't reach. This is puzzling since the fitting on the can of a/c Pro works fine. Anyone else run into this?

Okay, I figured it out. Not all gauge sets are created equally. I picked up a set from Harbor Freight that have much more travel on the coupler knobs. Problem solved.
