I was testing my non-working a/c system in my 93 fastback and found leaks in a line that looks like it goes into the radiator. It leaks at two spots, the part where it looks like it enters and exits the radiator.

Is this a ***** to replace this line? the system works fine when there is coolant in it, but it leaks out those two spots fast.

it doesnt go into the radiator. it goes to the condensor or whatever (i cant remember A/C termanology for crap) its a radiator-like thing that is in front of your radiator.

wait, did you say coolent? umm i hope you arent talking about water..... maybe try calling it freon?

anyways, you could get replacement lines from a junk yard or something. good luck~Ender

oh, how bout i help with the problem?

is it leaking at the connections, or the actual sides of the lines? before you do anything, you are technically supposed to have the system evacuated buy a trained licensed profesional.

if it wasn't working/ all the refrigerant already had evacuated by itself... upon repair & replacement of the receiver/drier (mebbe also the expansion valve) & have the right amount of oil in the systemthen u can get the system evacuated/recharged w/ refrigerant to make sure there's no residual air w/ moisture in thurr...

I see a line that goes into the right side of the condenser, it is leaking there. also it appears to leak from the left side of the condenser. Both spots are at the bottom. When i first recharged it everything ran fine for about 4 minutes, compressor turned on, switch lighted up, and cold air started blowing.
