Hi, ive noticed that whenever it rains heavily that water starts to drip from where the air conditioner is. For example it was raining today I got in my truck and the floor in front of the passenger seat was wet and I could see water dripping down. I turned the fan on and greater amount of water came out. Is this common and how do i fix it?

The truck is a 1985 720 ST King Cab Automatic 2x4.

It's an external leak. Most likely coming through the fresh air vent. Remove the wipers and the panel underneath. Look by the right side wiper and see if there is a plastic guide to prevent the water from entering the hole for the vent. If its missing theres your problem. If not you would need to look for corroded areas in this area.
