Im woundering if i should recharge it but i was told to get my presure levels checked before ,for it can couse a problem... How do i do that and wich levels should it be at even tho hot air is comming out

Can i purge it then do recharge :ohno:

pressure should be around 25-45 dependent on temp for the lower side and 160-250 for the highside again depending on temp


If you're unsure of about a/c stuff either do some reading up to educate yourself or pay a shop to do it(me being a tech I would prefer you bring it to a shop) just because I hate fixing other peoples screw ups.

Ok thanks,my husband purged it and pressure went down and started coming out cold again...hopfully is stays that way,nissan has always been a dealer thing(expensive)....

Been a while, but I think if head pressure is high at the compressor, that is shutting it off. High head pressure could be a block at the condensor or the fans not working properly? A/c experts can chime in, but if it is building pressure, relieving it may only temporarily fix it?

I would take it in and have them check it out.
