Hey guys, I have a 1997 qx4 and I'm having an issue with my a/c system. Sometimes at a stoplight it blows cold and then all of a sudden it starts blowing warm air and that's about that. I did some tests such as the paper test in front of the condenser, gets sucks in real good, cooling fan works, its got enough refrigerant inside the system, there's no leak anywhere. I don't know why it isn't blowing cold air. Appreciate the help.

There could be several factors. Warm air can be a sign your your AC is losing its charge of refrigerant or there can be a problem in your refrigerant circuit preventing it from flowing in the AC system. Also, the AC compressor might not be engaging when you put it on, or there could be a fault in the compressor. I think you should have an experienced technician take a look at it just to be sure. Hope it gets fixed.
