A/C Help

I have searched the forums, and I apologize if I have missed something. My air conditioner stopped working suddenly. I had thought that the car was low on 134-A but after checking the level was perfect. I next thought of the compressor but it kicked on appropriately.

I will now go into the problem. The air has never blown hard from the vents, so I replaced the cabin air filter thinking this would solve the problem. After changing the filter the air still blew cold. I left the A/C off for a couple of days and I now try and turn the A/C on and it blows hot air. As I said the level of 134-A is fine and the compressor kicks in. I am at a loss as the vents still push in air that is warmer than the outside air. I randomly try and turn on the air and play with the hot cold temp control and fan speed but to no avail, it still blows excessively hot air.

Any help or direction would be great. Thanks in advance.
