a/c, heater and center console problems

my heater is stuck on the front window defroster, even if i change the button so its on the vent or floor it won't change, but the lights on the buttons don't light up so could this be a fuse? also my center console controls don't work, like power windows and the cigaratte lighter, not just the lighter but the thing that you plug in other things into it, (radar detector etc) could this also be the fuse?

I would say fuse or bad ground. you may be dealing with 2 problems though since the heater control units have a history of problems. check source voltages and grounds to the components . You will need to break out the FSM for these checks.

my heater & a/c controls are fussy.. my lights work so it could be a fuse issue w/ yours

but sometimes mine will be stuck and ive recently discovered a couple firm finger pushes on the button I want gets it switched over..

Circuoit problem internally. has some soilder joint cracks most likely. you can go in and resoilder them if you know how to soilder properly.
