I took off my clutch fan this past weekend and know that the a/c electric fan still is there, but it only cuts on at 200 degrees...is there anyway i can run a switch to it so that i can controll it manually?

did you replace the clutch fan with an electric? You can run a wire from the a/c fan to your dash and install a switch to turn it on or off, but this will cause you problems. If you ever forget to turn it off, your battery will die quickly since it pulls substantial amps.

You could wire in a timer relay, so that after you turn off the ignition, the fan would only run for a predetermined time period and then shut off, if you accidentally forgot to turn the swith off. Just a thought, DEI makes timer relays. check it out Directed.com

Will, you're fine with letting it run the way it is. 200 is not hot enough to worry about. The fan kicks on low at 202, high 212. If you're worried, you can run a switch to the trigger wire, easier to get it at the ECU then to go under the hood. Pin number 14 on the ECU, blue/green stripe. Make sure to use a diode when tying into it.

This shows how to wire the fan to work "right" in the S14
