a/c fan noise

hey guys,

i know that when my a/c is on there is another fan engaged, but my problem is, it seems really loud. it doesnt sound broken or worn out. it's just LOUD. as soon as i shut my a/c off it stops, so i know thats the culprit. my question is 1) is that normal and 2) can i replace this with a quieter version?
