So I have a 99.5 pathy and when I turn the A/C fan on it makes a clicking noise, my friend heard it the other night when I warmed up my truck with the remote start and he thought it was my engine knocking.... but it stops when I trun the fan off. Any ideas of what it is?

You can pull the fan out by removing the three screws which hold it in place. Then you just have to disconnect the motor breather hose and you pull the fan assembly out and test it. You can turn the fan on while holding it to see if it makes the clicking noise (just make sure to keep clear of the blades, they can definitely cause some serious injuries if you stuck a finger in them at high speed). I recently pulled mine out to clean the fan impeller (it collects a LOT of soot from the motor) and ensure that the fan impeller was secured to the motor properly. I also sprayed some CRC electronics cleaner on the motor to clean any soot/debris from the coils. It's fairly simple to replace the motor if necessary and the parts are pretty cheap, you can pick a new motor up at most auto parts stores I believe.
