A/C delete

My air conditioner doesn't work and I`d like to save weight and engine power drain so I plan on removing all of its components. I plan on using the schematics at nissanpartszone.com to identify what is AC related. Anybody have any input or advice before I dig in?

Might be a 720 owner looking for a complete A/C system, so I'd post it up on CL first...

Not hard to delete. Start with the compressor (remove it from the engine bracket). The hoses will lead you to the rest of the components. Condenser is the small radiator-looking part, and everything attached to those lines can go.

The under-dash parts might be a bit more of a pin, but take your time and it'll come out.

It's a lot less work to repair an A/C system that's already in the truck, but to each their own. If you were local, I'd take it off your hands for sure.

I would be interested in the AC Unit. How much and where are you located?
