A/C default settings

Hi all,

I recently bought Altima Sedan 2.5 base. It has manual/semi automatic like/ A/C air vent system.
So as you probably know , control of the air flow is done by pressing button for the desired air flow direction.
The thing is that, when I start the car it is always set to blow in your feet with A/C ON.
So I wonder, is this a default setting for all Altimas, and can that be changed?

Problem solved:

Problem Fixed. The "transport fuse" mentioned on page 8-26 of the owner's manual was not fully inserted into the fusebox.
