Hey all. I was wondering if anyone has a PDF or URL of instructions for dissembling the dash of an Altima Coupe. I am considering installing an iPod interface myself (I've bought the components), but the instructions I have for dissassembly are for an 2007 Altima Sedan (I think). So if anyone has the Nissan service instructions that would be awesome. Thanks.

Here's a link to the factory service manual: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Altima/2008/

Sorry, I'm too lazy to look for it today. It's somewhere in there! Good luck

Also check out Robert's How-To on the AVIC D3 install. It shows you some dash removal tips.

Thanks to you both!! I'm having a little trouble downloading the PDFs from the server, I think the server is having an off night. But I'll try again tomorrow. And the other post helps A LOT! After I get the PDF I need, coupled with the pics from the other post all I need is the courage to actually get in there and tear apart my new Altima Coupe!! I'm not sure I have the stomach for it, but I'm a tinkerer and it's almost irrestible to do it.

Happy holidays guys!

It really is not that big of a deal. I had to tear my G apart twice - to install the ipod adapter - 2 times because I forgot something the first time.

You can also buy cd copies of the FSM on-line - if downloading is an issue. Good Luck.

Dave, when you do take the dash apart, just be sure to save all the screws in a bag so that you don't lost them. Some dashes are more difficult to take apart than others. Some have trick pieces that could break if not removed correctly... thankfully the A/C is not one of those cars, shouldn't be a problem, good luck
