Hi everyone,

I just replaced my defunct radio in my '97 Q45 with one that matches the same year. Got the removal instructions from carstereoremoval.com which were great. They gave appropriate warning to not exchange the lighter plug with the dimmer switch plug and I heeded it accordingly. Unplugged everything, replaced the radio, plugged everything back in and the radio works perfectly. Now I have no indication or control of the Air Conditioning system!!!! All I did was unplug and then plug it back in. Is there some kind of reset I have to do? Anyone have this kind of experience before?

Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks!

I fixed the problem. Apparently when you take the plug off you're in danger of blowing the AC fuse when you plug it back in. That was it. A freaking fuse!

Count your blessings you got off with only a fuse.
