Glad you had the non leak issue settled. Why do you think there are bubbles?

Did you read the FSM?
Take it to an exclusively automotive AC specialist. He can find the leak. Get a dryer and what ever other parts you need from Joe. Be sure to have the information form the manual for the amount of R12 and the correct lubrication the AC technician needs to replace after a complete (at least 1 hr.) evacuation of the system.
